Valentine's Day Art & Goodies!

Yes, Valentine's Day is right around the corner and I, too, have resorted to playing with typically annoying shades of pink (really, pastel pink is my least favorite color.  Ever.) and red.  Every year I want to work typically uncharacteristic Valentine's Day images (witches, cauldrons, etc.) into Valentine's Day.  Really wanted to do that this year, but the images I had hoped to pick up from Third Coast are still unavailable to me due to their big website SNAFU.  So I went typical.  And have been mailing out some goodies this week to friends all over.  The latest - a plastic tube of conversation hearts with a letter rolled up inside and a piece of cardboard painted to look like a Valentine will begin the journey to Paris tomorrow afternoon.  We'll see how they fare on the other end, upon arrival.  Or possible arrival, since my track record for sending mail to Paris and it not being received is pretty high.  Anway, Happy February, Imbolc Blessings, and may we all play with pink - all shades of pink, this month.

I think whoever receives these goodies will fall in love with them! (I agree with you about pastel pink - gag, ick, yuck)

Imbolc blessings to you and yours.

Hello fellow Alaskan; your art inspires me to create! I dedicate one day/week do to nothing but fill blank pages with color. Keeps me sane in the winter.
