Theme Thursday: Fun
Theme Thursday Talk about fun, do take time to see the new film by James Cameron, Avatar. Great fun, indeed. Am eager to also see Sherlock Holmes after Christmas. I've also started a new challenge blog for our artsy community, a revival of sorts of the old 4x4 Friday. Do join us! The first challenge has been posted.Tuesday, December 22, 2009

J'aime Paris
Check out the new digital art kit from Lisa's Altered Art! The background I used is actually from a Paris collage sheet released last summer, but all other images are found in the new Paris kit.
12 Tags of Christmas: Tag 10
There's nothing better than shiny foil...okay, maybe glitter, but either way, this was a gem to put together. I wonder if it would pass easily through airports? :) Check out the 12 Tags of Christmas. Just a couple more to be unveiled!

12 Tags of Christmas: Tag 8
Here's Tag 8 - looks nothing like the Tim tag posted for today, but it was what I could come up with in a pinch. I looked all over for the lovely Paper Artsy street lamp Liisa gave me a Christmas or two ago, but to avail in such short time. So I went with girl with the calendar dress. And a big, gold star. Inspired by, nothing like. :) Enjoy. Just a few more tags to be unveiled.

12 Tags of Christmas: Tag 7
Okay, this one is definitely inspired from - took some of the basic ideas, but improvised a lot. I have to say, I am most impressed with distressed ink on top of white paint and how easily it washes off! Will use this technique again. Anyway, this is tag 7 of the 12 Tags of Christmas. Enjoy!

12 Tags of Christmas: Tag 3
Here are my trees for Tag 3. I love this image of tall trees. My plaid background turned a bit sketchy on me, but it has a nice northern lights/snow appeal. Be sure to check out the 12 Tags of Christmas.

12 Tags of Christmas: Tag 2
Here's my second in the series. This I had fun doing. I don't have the metal gadgetry to make my corners and holiday flora uber cool, but used a Prima and rustic looking eyelet instead. Who knew that watering down Pearl Ex powders could be such a fun exercise in splatter and mess? If it's cool on the tag, you should see my shirt! Be sure to check out the 12 Tags of Christmas. This might also make the perfect holiday bookmark for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.12 Tags of Christmas: Tag 1
Well, I tried to make Blue Tag #1 today. You know the one - blue tag with snowman, swirly and lots of Rock Candy. I made a blissful mess of soggy blue. I had hoped it would dry into beautiful. There's always the chance that it could all run together in Rock Candy blueness. I was in Tim happiness for about an hour and a half tonight while assembling this. Anyone else trying to create with Tim and his 12 Tags of Christmas?
