Yukon Journey

Okay digi mavens, here's my second attempt at digi art. Yukon Journey is created for the Three Muses challenge of Incredible Journey. Background photo is one I took a few summers ago in Dawson of Robert Service's cabin. Can can girl is from Itkupilli. Thank Goddess for her tutorials, otherwise I'd be pasting clip art in a Word document and posting it as digi art. Okay, till next time. I need to go paint something or get glitter on my hands.

I like Judy's comment about your own excellent incredible journey into digital art. This is fantastic, Kersten. Your background photo is wonderful and the dancing girl evokes the old days of saloons and riotous living. I am amazed at the number of people who are dipping their toes into the pool which is digital art and coming up with sensational results - like yours!! (Having said that, The Three Muses welcomes any type of art with open arms!!)

Your lighting effects are great in this- the angled light make it seem like it could be of the stage lights a Dawson Lass would love to kick up her heels in!Putting her down in front and in close-up a good idea!

All the entries I have seen so far this week have swept my heart away, especially since I've spent so many hours dreaming of far away places, Your saloon girl is the perfect image to capture any wanderlust imagination. Beautiful work!
