Surreal

Surreal is the Three Muses challenge this week. This is not only my first entry for this challenge, it is my first digital effort. After two hours, I'm thinking I'll go back to rubber and ink in the morning, but it was fun to try it out. I have Corel Paint Shop Pro on my laptop, but it doesn't get much use. Itkupilli's tutorials in digital media are extremely helpful! I just want use of a clip art gallery while I work. Sky image is a photo Bruce took last week while on the ferry home from Prince Rupert. Pumpkin head girl is from Lisa's Altered Art.

Oh Kersten, here I sat at 4 a.m. laughing out loud. It's wonderful! For a first digital venture, I give you an A+. Try this Flickr pool for lots of help in finding images and bits and pieces. all free for use in collage.

I agree with Bev - an A+ for your first venture into digital. What a great, surreal picture - and funny too. (Yes, keep it under wraps for Halloween which will come around before we know it). Hey, one of these days I may surprise you lovely crafty ladies with something handmade!!

Oh Kersten, don't give up your digital career, this is a brilliant first attempt and it's wonderful. When I first started my main problem was the lack of resources, but they are everywhere, not least on Flickr as Bev says. If you're not a member it might be worth a sign up. Bravo.

For your first attempt this is fantastic! As you're lucky enough to have PSP on your laptop you shouldn't waste its possibilities. There are lots of online courses you can do - give one a go.
