Spooky Tag

This is a 2 for 1 piece - Time Flies for TIO and Peeling Paint for Saturday's Workout. There's something about witches in August. This is usually when I begin to play with Halloween images and now, August's eve, is no exception. Before you know it, summer gives way to fall and time does truly fly. Enjoy!

One Powerful Hour: Maps

The OPH theme this week involves maps. Enjoy!

Yukon Journey

Okay digi mavens, here's my second attempt at digi art. Yukon Journey is created for the Three Muses challenge of Incredible Journey. Background photo is one I took a few summers ago in Dawson of Robert Service's cabin. Can can girl is from Itkupilli. Thank Goddess for her tutorials, otherwise I'd be pasting clip art in a Word document and posting it as digi art. Okay, till next time. I need to go paint something or get glitter on my hands.

And speaking of Bebe, it's time to get Rie up for the day! :) Images from Lisa's Altered Art.

The theme this week for the Saturday Surprise challenge is The Games We Play. Here's my Bingo ATC.

And More Ladies

Here's a set of Gibson Girl mini cards I did last night for Altered Pages.

Colorful Skirt Girl

Charming Junk is the MMM challenge this week. I took the opportunity to use up some of the paper scraps on my desk and even pulled out some junk from drawers to add - crystals and Finnish postage stamp - to my card that will undoubtedly be mailed to a friend.

Magic AND Nature

Here's my Wednesday Stamper piece for the theme Colorful. This is actually a revised post. I woke up this morning to find I had posted Magic last month and meant to post Nature. SO - here they both are. Stamps by 100 Proof Press.

Surreal is the Three Muses challenge this week. This is not only my first entry for this challenge, it is my first digital effort. After two hours, I'm thinking I'll go back to rubber and ink in the morning, but it was fun to try it out. I have Corel Paint Shop Pro on my laptop, but it doesn't get much use. Itkupilli's tutorials in digital media are extremely helpful! I just want use of a clip art gallery while I work. Sky image is a photo Bruce took last week while on the ferry home from Prince Rupert. Pumpkin head girl is from Lisa's Altered Art.

Letter Girl

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun is this week's One Powerful Hour challenge. Here is my ATC for the occasion using stamps from Lynne Perella and Quietfire Design.

Sun, Beach, Sand

Yes, I've been in love with my German Scrap again this week! :) Here's my entry for the Crazy Amigo challenge. I turned grumpy moon into a grumpy sun.

Red & Black

Okay, and a splash of green, too. Red & Black is the Theme Thursday challenge. Am just starting to get back into art and updating my blog after a month of exploring the B.C. coastline. Wonderful trip all around - got to meet artiste extraordinaire and awesome person Kelly Burton and family, hit many stamp stores along the way, and soaked up time with Bruce & Rie. Spent time with good friends and simply enjoyed. By the way, Happy Canada Day!
