The Written Word

The Mixed Media Monday challenge this week is The Written Word. I am posting an altered Altoid tin to mark the challenge. The lichen that trims the left corner and edge of the box is what we locals call "Old Man's Bearded Moss". I picked it up in the park this morning while out on a walk to soak up some wintery sun. Yes, spring is coming.

This is quite profound - the female form with those words and the natural elements. It comes together so beautifully.
