Lady Voyageur: Vintage

Do you ever wonder where you're going with a piece? I'm not sure what my ultimate goal was for this one, but I'm pretty certain I can classify it under the label vintage for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.

Wednesday Stamper: Open Theme

Wednesday Stamper's Open Theme is just what I needed today! :)

Button, Button, Who's Got the Button?

The Crazy Amigo challenge is buttons this week and my sample has just one tiny orange button on it. See if you can spot it. :)

Here's the arch I've put together in anticipation of this week's Gothic Arch challenge, Wee Witches. Collage images are from Collagevisions. Stamps are from Oxford Impressions and Inkastamps.

Quote Stamp

Crazy Amigo's challenge this week is to stamp a quote. Here's one I made with the quote, "Follow the road less traveled".

Poe Canvas

Still playing with Poe for the MMM challenge of "Things That Go Bump in the Night". My tiny canvas is painted with Caran d'Ache watercolor crayons. Edging is black acrylic paint. Stamped images from Silver Crow Creations and Quietfire Design.

Halloween ATCs

The TMTA challenge is Halloween. I made up a couple that will also be swapped out on the Altered Gypsy board. Collage images by Collagevisions and ArtChix. Stamped images from Oxford Impressions and Time to Stamp (IBrake for Stamps).

Patchwork Poe

This week's Gothic Arch challenge is Patchwork. I decided to work ravens and Poe and grumpy moon into a paper tapestry. A bit on the Halloween side, but without the typical Halloween palette.

Witch Tree

Dans ma maison il y a un arbre...a witch tree that is! Tree and birds in tree from I Brake for Stamps. Scrap image from Inkastamps. Collage image by Collagevisions.

TGIF: Favorite Stamp

I seem to gravitate towards these grand, vintage women images. They are the constant in my stamp purchases - grand dames and ravens. So here's an ATC for this week's TGIF challenge featuring one of these larger than life vintage women with big hat and brooding, frank stare.

Crazy Amigo: Coppery Cat and Raven

Animals is the Crazy Amigo challenge this week.

Mixed Media Monday: Blues and Purples

This week's MMM challenge is a little blue, a little purple. I pulled this together using some old French postage stamps and lots of thick embossing powder.

Gothic Arch: Haute Couture

Faerie wears Prada is my interpretation for the Gothic Arch challenge this week. I actually have yet to see this film, (The Devil Wears Prada) but from what I've heard, it might fit the bill for haute couture. This will have to do as the biggest fashion statement in my little Alaskan town consists of rubber boots and rain gear. Stamps include: leaf from Oxford Impressions, Wrought Iron from Stampington, Porcello Flourish from Memory Box. Collage images by Inkastamps and Lisa's Altered Art.

Raven Diva

Purple is the Theme Thursday challenge this week. I used some new Halloween goodies sent to me by Cathy plus a raven with script background from Spice It Up. Stamped images from Inkastamps, Inkadinkado, and Somerset. My muse is traveling south this week with departing geese. I hope she returns. Sometimes purple is enough to do the trick, though.

Dance Among the Shadows

This week's MMM challenge is Opposites. I used Staz On ink, acrylic paints, and Caran d'Ache crayons for the sunset on watercolor paper adhered to a cardboard back. Ephemera includes an old French poem by Victor Hugo and my opposites of stars in the tree and blossoms in the sky. Stamped images from Oxford Impressions, the new Trick or Treat plate.

Gothic Arches: Turquoise

Here's another gothic arch in cool turquoise blue this week. Images used are from a variety of places: Collage Stuff, Collagevisions, and Spice It Up. The text reads, "Raven moon full & bright". October 14th is the full moon this month. Maybe we'll catch a raven streaking across the face of the moon.

ATCs for Fall/Halloween

Theme Thursday: Road Trip

I just love this journey stamp and don't use it nearly enough. It reminds me of our summer Canadian adventures, just getting in the car and driving through provinces. The stamp is ideal for this week's Theme Thursday challenge.

One Powerful Hour: Baby Shoes

Okay, they are a bit obscure for a shoe theme, but there it is, my one powerful hour of creating tonight.

Wednesday Stamper: Texture

I had some leftover mica on my desk from Monday night's endeavors, so I put this together for Wednesday Stamper. Image by Collagevisions. Stamps by Jody Poesy and Oxford Impressions.
