Gothic Arch: Spirit Captured

What is it about flourishes that capture our fancy? This week's Gothic Arch challenge is flourishes, hosted by artiste extraordinaire, Kelly B. For mine, I used a subtle layering of distress paints, my most favorite flourish of all time, Wrought Scroll by Christine Adolph, fluid acrylics to stamp the dots, and a cyan blue oil pastel stick for the border. Image and expression are by Lisa's Altered Art. What are your favorite all time flourishes?

What a great piece of art this is, Kersten. The colours are superb and you're right, those flourishes are fab!
I only have one set of flourishes, by Rhonna Farrer, which are great and I use them loads.
